What are the grant provisions?

Generally, the grants shall provide for the following:

• Round trip airfare
• Living allowance when in the host country/institution
• Limited accident and health insurance
• Local field trips and language study allowance (for ASIA Fellows Awardees only)
• Research allowance (for ASIA Fellows Awardees only )
• Paper writing fee (for Intellectual Discourse Awardees only)
• Per diem (for short-term awards only)

There are no provisions for dependents who accompany the fellow.
